Bandwidth check

The available bandwidth on the receiving computer is still the biggest factor influencing transmission quality of video data via the Internet.

To ensure optimum reception at all times, we provide all content in at least two formats optimized to your target bandwidth. Therefore, the absolute minimum requirement is an ISDN Internet connection with 64 kbit/sec.
Currently available DSL services vary between 512 kbit/sec and 16 Mbit/sec (downstream speed).
The upstream speed is not relevant for the pure reception of streaming data.

Please note that a valid bandwidth test is only possible if you close all open video windows and terminate the download.
